Cyclist (60s) dies in hospital after single-vehicle crash in Dublin

Gardaí are appealing for any witnesses to this collision to come forward.

A CYCLIST HAS died after a crash in Dublin yesterday afternoon.

The man, aged in his 60s, was pronounced dead at St Vincent’s Hospital after the single-vehicle collision on the Ticknock Road in Ticknock at 2pm yesterday.

A postmortem examination will be conducted at a later date. A technical examination of the scene was conducted yesterday and the road has since reopened.

Gardaí are appealing for any witnesses to this collision to come forward.

Any road users who may have camera footage (including dash-cam) and were travelling in the Ticknock Road area between 1.45pm and 2pm are asked to make this footage available to Gardaí.
